New Delhi: He says no 'Practice Makes a Man Perfect' and Team India's classic batsman Cheteshwar Pujara is engaged in using this proverb. Pujara, who arrived in England to join the ongoing county cricket in England, has expressed his keenness to join the Sussex County Cricket Club for the first time. Sussex will play their second match of the County Championship on April 14 and Pujara will make his debut for this team.

In fact, Pujara shared a video of net practice on the desi social media platform Koo App and wrote, "Ready for the start of his tenure with @sussexccc from tomorrow, can't wait any longer to get on the field.'' Cheteshwar Pujara was to reach England and join Sussex in advance to join county cricket, but due to the delay in getting the visa, he could not be a part of the first match starting from April 7.

Sussex County Cricket Club is the fourth team of Cheteshwar Pujara. Pujara has previously played for Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire teams. Sussex has included Team India's Test specialist Pujara as a replacement for Australian batsman Tevis Head. Sussex will play their second match in the County Championship against Derbyshire.
