Jaipur: Nearly 40 shops were burnt by a Muslim mob in the communal violence that erupted the next day after Abid, Farid, and Sameer's knifing in Chhabra, Rajasthan's Baran. Many policemen were stoned and injured in electricity and water services. On Tuesday (April 13, 2021), the local administration has extended the curfew for 48 hours. STF, RAC, and police marched in the streets. Restrictions on Internet service have also been extended till Thursday evening.

So far 25 people have been arrested in the case of riots in Chhabra. The meeting of the peace committee was held in the presence of the administration. The Collector has appealed to maintain peace. The Chhabra Trade Association says that shops will not open until the culprits are arrested. Businessmen have accused the police administration of failure. Several cases have been registered including stone-pelting, arson, damage to property, obstruction of state work, and assault on police.

In the Dharnavada Chouraha case, some people of Gurjar community have been charged, including Devraj Gurjar, Nand Singh Gurjar, and Mahendra Gurjar as well as Dilkhush Meena and Lakhan. Feroz, Aashiq, Nadeem, Ahmed, Shehzad, Fatehshah, Niyamat, Abdul, Ghulam, Sabir, Akhtar, Yasin, Parvez, Zahoor, Shaheed, Sheru, Sajid, Rizwan, and Munna have been arrested by filing case number 74.
