Bhopal: Today, due to technology, cybercrime is on the rise and making the common people its prey. However, not only the common people but also the special people are coming under the grip of this crime. According to the recent information, Congress MLAs from Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh have also fallen prey to cyber crime. In fact, MLA Neeraj Dixit has complained to the police about blackmailing against an unidentified woman.

In a complaint to the police, he said that the unidentified woman committed obscene acts after making a video call to him and is later trying to blackmail him through the video. Meanwhile, DSP Shashank Jain said that police have registered a case on the complaint of MLA Neeraj Dixit from Maharajpur assembly seat in Chhatarpur district. Shashank Jain said Neeraj Dixit in his complaint said that an unidentified woman had recently made a video call to his personal number. As soon as they received the call, a woman appeared on it.

The woman started indulging in obscene acts as soon as the call was received and recorded the video call. The woman then started blackmailing them on the basis of video calls. As part of the information received in the case, the MLA says that the call came to him on his personal number. In fact, he thought that someone in need of his constituency might have called to explain his problem, but as he received the phone, the woman on the call on the other hand started indulging in obscene acts. The MLA further said that he used to get SMS from this number earlier also. However, it is yet to be revealed how much money the woman has demanded from the MLA. In the case, the DSP says that at present it is not known what the woman has demanded from Neeraj Dixit. The matter is under investigation. The case has been filed.
