After a long wait, the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has announced the Prelims examination result. Students who appeared in the recruitment exam, conducted on February 17, 2019, can check the scores online published at the official website of CGPSC— The CGPSC Prelims result is available in a PDF format, which carries roll numbers of the candidates who have been declared qualified for the next stage of CGPSC Mains exam 2019. According to the official release; 4,128 candidates have been shortlisted for the Chhattisgarh CGPSC Main Exam.

To get shortlisted for the upcoming stage, unreserved category candidates have to secure at least 33 per cent in each paper, while the reserved category students must score a minimum of 23 per cent marks to be considered qualified. Besides, the commission is yet to release the CGPSC cut off for Prelims, which is announced separately and not along with the result announcement.

Candidates who have qualified the CGPSC prelims 2019, will now have to apply for the main examination again. They will have to undergo with the detailed application form fill up process, which will be notified by the State Public Service Commission. The candidates who surpass the CGPSC Mains exam, will have to participate in the interview round which is likely will be held in October, 2019. The final results of the CGPSC recruitment process for the available posts would be declared in December, 2019.

The Chhattisgarh CGPSC will conduct the Mains examination on June 21, 22, 23 and 24 and the result for the same is tentatively scheduled to be announced in August, 2019. The recruitment exams are being held for selecting candidates for 273 vacancies available in 17 services in Chhattisgarh.
