Raipur: Politics has intensified after 10 people were killed in a gunfight in Sonbhadra. National General Secretary of the Congress Priyanka Vadra had arrived here on Friday to meet the family members of the deceased where the Uttar Pradesh administration stopped her from meeting the family of the deceased. Priyanka Gandhi announced to sit on a dharna in Mirzapur. Priyanka said she will continue to dharna till she meets the victims of the Sonbhadra firing. However, later the administration has introduced Priyanka to the Sonbhadra victims.

On the other hand, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has also canceled all his programs and will leave for Varanasi from Raipur today to support Priyanka Vadra. During the visit, CM Bhupesh Baghel will also meet the Governor in the Sonbhadra case. Pl Punia is already in Sonbhadra, where CM Bhupesh Baghel is also scheduled to arrive soon.

Earlier, four-member of Trinamool Congress (TMC) delegation had also left for Sonbhadra, which was detained by the Uttar Pradesh Police Administration at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi. The TMC delegation led by Darren O'Brien had reached Varanasi, which has been detained by the Uttar Pradesh Police Administration for the time being.
