Chhattisgarh minister Anila Bhediya’s advice, drink a little and go to sleep

Raipur: While the Congress government in Chhattisgarh is preparing for prohibition, Bhupesh Baghel government's women and child welfare minister Anila Bhediya is instructing people to drink. In fact, addressing the gathering in Singhola village on Thursday (October 14, 2021), Minister Anila asked the women to 'drink alcohol before going to bed to stay away from stress.'

She further said that women look after the house and family and feel mentally stressed. Drink a little more and go to sleep. The video of the minister's statement is going viral on social media. He has been receiving a lot of criticism from the Chhattisgarh Government for his objectionable statement made by the Minister. A Twitter user attacked Anila saying, "Anila Wolf, minister for women child development in the Chhattisgarh government, is advising women to drink alcohol. The BJP has been consistently alleging that Congress had vowed to impose a liquor ban in the state before the assembly elections.

Bjp's Jashpur has also condemned his statement. Bjp Jashpur tweeted, "Under the influence of power, Minister Anila Wolf in the Chhattisgarh government is advising women in the state to drink alcohol, who are responsible for the upliftment of women and children. Shameful!.'
