Raigad: A case of rape of a 6-year-old innocent girl has been reported in Raigad district of Chhattisgarh. On the complaint of the victim's family, the police have arrested the accused Kishore. After arresting the accused Kisher, he was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, from where he was taken to the Child Communication Home. The accused teenager is 15 years old. The incident is reported to have happened on Friday evening, when the girl was alone in her house.

Giving information about the case, Additional Superintendent of Police, Raigad district, Abhishek Verma said that the 6-year-old girl was provided with medical facility, the girl is completely safe. Lailunga police station in-charge of the district Kiran Gupta told about the incident that a 15-year-old teenager from a village raped a 6-year-old innocent girl. A woman from the neighbourhood saw it and informed the family of the victim's innocent child.

The victim's mother reached Lailunga police station and filed a complaint in this regard. In view of the seriousness of the case, the girl was immediately rushed to the hospital. Offenses under section 376 have been registered against the accused Kishore under the POCSO Act.
