Raipur: A recent case of crime has shocked everyone. The case that has come to light recently belongs to Balod district. A Class IX student has made a shocking disclosure during a consultation session in Balod district of Chhattisgarh. The 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two married men in her village for four years.

Counselling was conducted by the school principal to find out the reasons for her the examination. When the principal asked her why her grade had been falling for the past several years, the girl told her about the rapes she had suffered during those years. According to sources, the girl's teachers and principal noticed that her grades had been falling for the past several years, though she had been a bright student in her class till class 6. But the victim had appeared in the Class IX examination.

Describing her rape, the girl said she was raped for the first time by her neighbour when she was in class 5. The victim said she continued to be raped as she waited to return from school and abuse her. The girl said she didn't know what was going on, except for the pain. Later, the first accused called his 30-year-old friend and he also started raping her.

After counselling, the principal informed the girl's parents and called the police. Both the accused were immediately arrested by the police. One of the accused has already been jailed for a rape case while his wife committed suicide in shame. Police have registered a case against the accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
