New Delhi: The central government is scheduled to organise the event on November 20 under the Swachh Amrit Mahotsav at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The event is scheduled to be presided over by President Ram Nath Kovind. 61 municipal bodies of Chhattisgarh will also be honoured with the Swachh Amrit Mahotsav Star Rating Safai Mitra Suraksha Challenge Award.

Chhattisgarh is going to be awarded the category of cleanest state by the Indian Government at the event in Delhi. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and minister Dr Shivakumar Daharia have been invited to Delhi by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to receive the award. Meanwhile, municipal bodies of the state are to be felicitated.

The Swachh Survekshan conducted by the Indian Government will be the world's largest sanitation competition. In which bodies from all over the country are going to be surveyed. Many standards will be set for this. Also, different categories are going to be created. Bodies are to be honoured after meeting all standards.  Where it has been revealed that Chhattisgarh's highest number of bodies are going to be awarded in the programme. Chhattisgarh has also been a pioneer in Swachh Survekshan in 2019 and 2020. Let us tell you that in addition to conducting awareness campaigns on cleanliness in the bodies of Chhattisgarh, dustbins have also been put in place. So that people don't throw garbage around. Dustbins have also been kept in homes. People have also been told which waste to dump in which dustbin. All the officers, employees, cleaners and sanitation workers of Nagar panchayat are also under special supervision for cleanliness.
