Once again, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee targeted the central government and said that industrialists in the country are being intimidated about paying CBI tax in addition to the regular tax. Addressing the industrialists on the second and last day of the Business Summit 2019 held at the Tourism Nagar Digha under East Medinipur district, Ms. Banerjee said that "I came to know from my friends in the industry that they are facing many problems. You have to pay many kinds of taxes. Income tax, customs, CBI tax, etc. everyone is afraid of doing business".

In her statement, the Trinamool chief said that today there is a lot of mental tension in front of industrialists and if this continues, it will not be possible for them to do business. She said that by CBI tax, she meant by getting approval from the Central Investigation Agency.
Apart from this, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the goal of the state government is to start production in the Devcha Pachami coal block in Birbhum district within 24 months. She said that the Deocha Pachami coal block is the second-largest coal block in the world and it has estimated coal reserves of 2.1 billion tonnes. She said that we are very keen to start work on the project immediately. But there are some problems regarding land in some areas, which will take some time.
