Once again, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee targeted the central government and said that industrialists in the country are being intimidated about paying CBI tax in addition to the regular tax. Addressing the industrialists on the second and last day of the Business Summit 2019 held at the Tourism Nagar Digha under East Medinipur district, Ms. Banerjee said that "I came to know from my friends in the industry that they are facing many problems. You have to pay many kinds of taxes. Income tax, customs, CBI tax, etc. everyone is afraid of doing business".

In her statement, the Trinamool chief said that today there is a lot of mental tension in front of industrialists and if this continues, it will not be possible for them to do business. She said that by CBI tax, she meant by getting approval from the Central Investigation Agency.
