Karnataka's CM BS Yeddyurappa is going to flag off the first train of 'Roll on Roll off' (RoRo) from Nelamagala station located on the outskirts of Bangalore today. According to South Western Railway (SWR), this train will run between Bangalore to Solapur in Maharashtra.

Union Railway State Minister Suresh Angadi will also join him on this occasion. The state revenue minister R Ashok and senior railway officials will also be there. The RORO will have an open wagon on which there will be trucks loaded with goods. In these, drivers and cleaners will be present. They are taken off at a special point from, after which they can drive their car. Up to 42 trucks loaded with goods can be taken at one time.

Let me tell you that the corona havoc in the state is increasing rapidly. With the arrival of 8,324 new infections due to corona infection on Saturday, the total number of infected people in the state has increased to 3,27,076. The health department said that 115 more people died of corona infection on Saturday, including 5,483 people have lost their lives in the state. So far 2,35,128 people have become corona free. 8,110 of them were discharged from the hospital on Saturday itself. According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, 86,446 patients are undergoing treatment in the state, out of which 721 patients are admitted in the Intensive Care Cell (ICU) due to acute conditions.
