Tadepalli: Speaking to the media at the party headquarters here, MLC Duvvada Srinivas said that the previous TDP government had completely neglected the districts of North Andhra on all fronts from the treatment of kidney patients at Udanam to the construction of Bhavanpadu port.The development of North Andhra region can be done only by the YSRCP government under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Uddanam's kidney patients used to go to Srikakulam or Vizag and queue up for dialysis and were released during the TDP regime. Seeing their difficulties, the Chief Minister also sanctioned a super specialty hospital at Palasa. Fulfilled its promise by supplying fresh water from irrigation projects at a cost of Rs 750 crore.MLC Srinivas observed that TDP leaders have least concern about Vamsadhara project and Bhawanpadu port.

Unlike the TDP government, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave priority to both the projects and resolved to complete them in the next 30 months. Apart from these, the government had also initiated the construction of two fishing ports at Srikakulam, Bhogapuram airport, a six-lane highway worth Rs 14,000 crore and further development of the beach corridor at Visakhapatnam. Srinivas criticized Chandrababu Naidu for ruining northern Andhra, saying Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had taken a historic decision by making Visakhapatnam the working capital.
