Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh): Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated the holy Tungabhadra Pushkar on Friday. Despite the adverse situation in the background of covid, the government has decided to make Pushkar a success in a traditional manner and without a cry of respect for the devotees' feelings. Later, Chief Minister Jagan performed special pujas in Sankalbhagghat and participated in the homam. The program was accompanied by Ministers Bugana Rajendranath Reddy, Vellampally Srinivas, Gummanur Jayaram, Collector Veerapandian, SP Fakkirappa, MLAs Hafiz Khan, Kankati Sridevi, Katasani Rambhupal Reddy, Sudhakar and Toguru Arthur.

From today to December 1.. Tungabhadra Pushkar will be held for 12 days. Five thousand policemen are running a police force. Special lying swimmers were made available at the ghats. 23 Pushkar ghats were set up in the district for millions of devotees. 7 ghats have been set up in Kurnool city along with VIP Pushkar Ghat. According to the Covid-19 rules, the authorities did not allow baths in the river. Bathing under the showers arranged at the ghats was arranged to worship and perform embryos.
