The dispute that broke out between the Chief Secretary and the cabinet ministers of the Indian state of Punjab is now seen going in cold storage. According to the information, the Chief Minister has made it clear by calling angry leaders at lunch at his residence on Wednesday that the Chief Secretary is doing good work and no complaint has been received against him. Angry ministers and MLAs who have been making public statements, only told the Chief Minister that they should resolve the matter soon.

Regarding the matter, sources say that none of the leaders present in the lunch program asked the Chief Minister to remove the Chief Secretary. Rather, all the leaders expressed concern that the officers do not listen to them, so it is necessary to take action on them. The Chief Minister also assured the officers of strictness and instructed the leaders to avoid public statements. However, showing no seriousness about the allegations against the Chief Secretary, the Chief Minister also indicated to postpone the matter till Manpreet Badal returned.

In the lunch program, Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and MLA Raja Vading were the only two people who have been publicly demanding the removal of the Chief Secretary. But due to the absence of the ministers (Manpreet Badal and Charanjit Channi) who are the main characters, in this case, they could not put their demands vigorously in front of the Chief Minister. Manpreet Badal is currently embroiled in the tragic circumstances of his father's demise and Charanjit Channi's entire attention has turned towards a quarrel with a contented Bajwa. The Chief Secretary has remained completely silent.
