Bhopal: During the Corona period, there were many children in Madhya Pradesh who lost their parents. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the Covid-19 Child Service Scheme to provide financial assistance to those children. With the implementation of the scheme, this benefit is now available only to children whose both parents have died of the corona. There are now many children who applied to avail the scheme but they are still out of help.

Let me tell all of you that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced the scheme on 13th May, and during that time it was said that financial assistance would be provided to the children whose parents died due to corona. Not only that, but the government's form of the scheme also stated that if either the mother or the father died due to corona, the child would get the benefit of such a scheme. With the same number very high, the Government has now changed this condition. Yes, and now this benefit is being extended only to children whose parents both have died due to Covid-19. So far, 930 applications have been received by the Government, out of which assistance has been provided to many children.

According to sources in the case, 'If the app is taken from all, there will be more than 10,000 applications. This will increase the additional burden on the Government.' In the same case, Home Minister and government spokesperson Narottam Mishra said, "Children whose heads have been overshadowed by parents are being helped. As far as assistance on the demise of one of the two is concerned, that proposal is still pending with the Government and is under consideration.''
