China launched its first domestically built aircraft carrier

Beijing: Recently, China which is engaged in increasing maritime strength as been formally inducted its first indigenous aircraft carrier, Shandong into the Navy on Tuesday. People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN), has a remarkable rise in ambitions with a 55,000-tonne ship. This is China's second aircraft carrier after Liaoning. Liaoning was actually built in the Soviet Union in the mid-1980s and was rebuilt in Delian. It was included in the PLAN in 2012 as a tanning ship.

Four countries have more than two aircraft carriers: According to sources, there are only 4 countries in the world, which have 2 or more aircraft carriers. Among them, apart from China, America, Britain, and Italy are included. The Royal Navy has made a big jump by recently joining the fleet of HMS Prince of Wales. This 65 thousand ton ship will be with HMS Queen Elizabeth. Both these aircraft are capable of carrying around 40 F-35B Lightning to Stealth fighter aircraft.
