Today an important meeting of the leaders of the QUAD countries is going to be held. Apart from US President Joe Biden, PM Narendra Modi, Australian PM Scott Morrison, PM Yoshihide Suga of Japan are participating in this meeting. In this virtual meeting, they are going to talk about freeing the Indian Pacific region for everyone's movement. Apart from this, the problems arising due to the covid-19 epidemic and its diagnosis and climate changes are also being talked about. But it is believed that China may be the most important issue.

This will be PM Modi's first meeting between an organization with US President Joe Biden. PM Modi already had a virtual meeting with Japan's PM Yoshihide Suga and Australian PM Scott Morrison. So far Modi only once had a telephone conversation with Biden. PM Modi, US President Joe Biden, Japan's PM Yoshihide Suga, and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison will be discussing new strategies against China. Talking about the importance of the Quad, China has been directly considering it as a challenge for itself. He said this many times before.

As it has been known, the meaning of QUAD is 'Quadrilateral Security Dialogue', which includes four countries India, Japan, Australia, and America. It is being said that maintaining balance and restoring peace and power in the Asia-Pacific region will be the main purpose of this quad. The Quad was proposed in 2007 by Shinzo Abe, the former Prime Minister of Japan. The proposal was supported by India, the US, and Australia. After which the first meeting of foreign ministers of all these countries was held in the year 2019.
