New Delhi: Two years ago, there has been another major revelation related to the bloody conflict between the Indo-China armies in eastern Ladakh. China has been hiding the number of its soldiers killed from the beginning, but the brutality of the Chinese army against Indian soldiers is not acceptable. The Chinese army had kidnapped an Indian Army doctor for the treatment of its injured soldiers and killed him after treatment. This surprising revelation has happened in a recently published book.

Two journalists Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh have detailed the incident that took place in June 2020 in their book. 'India's Most Fearless 3: New Military Stories of Unimaginable Courage and Sacrifice' states that the Indian Army doctor saved the lives of many Chinese soldiers and later the doctor was brutally killed by Chinese soldiers. Let us know that on the night of June 15, 2020, 20 Indian Army personnel, including a colonel, were martyred in a clash between the Indian Army and the Chinese army. However, China was not ready to accept that its soldiers were also killed in this conflict. China later admitted that four of its soldiers had been killed.  

The book also mentions that China resorted to large-scale propaganda to hide its losses. According to the book, China had left its injured soldiers to fend for themselves, at that time an Indian doctor saved the lives of many Chinese soldiers. Dr Deepak Singh also saved the lives of many Indian soldiers. For the sacrifice of Dr Deepak, he was also posthumously awarded the Vir Chakra, the second highest wartime honour.
