China has committed genocide, according to the Uyghur Tribunal, by imposing measures to prevent births with the intent of eradicating a substantial portion of the Uyghur population in Xinjiang.

The torture of Uyghurs by China is proven beyond a reasonable doubt, according to an independent tribunal based in the United Kingdom. Deportation or forcible transfer; imprisonment or other severe deprivation of physical liberty; torture; rape and other sexual violence; enforced sterilisation; persecution; enforced disappearance; and other inhumane acts are all crimes against humanity attributable to the People's Republic of China (PRC).

The Tribunal is convinced that the crime against humanity and other inhumane crimes have been proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Satellite imagery revealed the demolition or damage of roughly 16,000 mosques in the region, accounting for 65 percent of the previous amount, as corroborated by direct witness observations.

Furthermore, cemeteries and other religiously significant locations have been desecrated. For religious observance, such as attending mosques, praying, wearing headscarves and beards, and not drinking alcohol or eating pork, Uyghurs face incarceration and torture.
