The South Korean Coast Guard has detained a Chinese fishing boat for allegedly keeping false ship logs, saiofficiadls .
According to media reports, the Coast Guard, based in Mokpo on the southwestern coast, detained a 99-ton vessel on Friday in waters approximately 180 kilometres south of an island in Shinan, South Jeolla Province, some 350 kilometres south of Seoul.
According to authorities, the unnamed ship is accused of breaking 48 operation guidelines, including concealing dates and signatures in ship logs.
