Beijing: The Winter Olympics 2022 is taking place in China, which is covered by journalists from all over the world. But China, which follows communist ideologies, does not like democracy and freedom of the media. Something similar happened with a Dutch reporter covering the Winter Olympics in Beijing. The Dutch journalist was forcibly caught by Chinese police while covering the Olympic opening ceremony.

According to the report, the incident took place on Friday (February 4, 2022), when Dutch public broadcasting correspondent Sozard Dan Das was doing the coverage during the opening ceremony of the Olympics. During the reporting, a Chinese guard forcibly pushed him back and grabbed him from there and took him with them. The video is also going viral. In the video, he can be seen with a red bandage on his arm and was saying something in the Mandarin language. The News Journal said that our journalist @sjoerddendaas was dragged out of the camera by security guards at 12.00 p.m. in nos journal," said Sozard Das when he was tortured by The Chinese authorities. Unfortunately, it is becoming a daily reality for the press in China. The good thing was that he could finish his story. '

However, why the Chinese guard misbehaved with a foreign journalist is not clear. The incident with Dane Das took place outside the Bird's Nest Stadium. Not only this, the fear of China, which beliefs in the dictatorial system, can be gauged from the fact that it had ordered international athletes during the Winter Olympics not to talk about China's aggression, provocation, persecution and genocide. Calling the Chinese government cruel, the US has also warned its players not to talk about human rights violations there.
