China considers Ladakh as a part of Tibet and keeps trying to infiltrate it. But this is the first time it has tried to trick the common Ladakhs. In fact, China does not consider the Dalai Lama to be a religious and political leader of Tibetans. China, on its part, has imposed a Dalai Lama on Tibet. Ladakh has a large number of followers of the Dalai Lama, including both refugees from Tibet and Ladakh.
