Patna: In Bihar Assembly elections, a fierce battle has started between Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) National President Chirag Paswan and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). On the statement of Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, Chirag Paswan has targeted the BJP. Speaking to a private news channel, Chirag said that "If we are vote cutters, then why has BJP kept us together since 2014?"

Chirag said that under the pressure of Nitish Kumar, the BJP is making such statements. He clearly said that if Nitish Kumar becomes the Chief Minister then he will not be in the NDA. Chirag Paswan said that PM Modi paid a lot of respect to my father (Ram Vilas Paswan). I am with PM Modi and respect him. The election is like Holi. Many colors are seen in it. Like Holi, after the election, people get ready by taking a bath.

The LJP chief further said that the decision to contest for 143 seats is mine. We will field candidates against JDU. Some BJP leaders are giving statements at the behest of Nitish Kumar, but BJP and LJP government will be formed in Bihar. On Friday, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar had said that LJP will not have any effect in Bihar elections. In LJP Bihar elections, only one vote will remain as a Katwa party. Prakash Javadekar made it clear that only four parties (BJP, JDU, Hum, and VIP) are contesting elections together in Bihar.
