From the last  3 years, the Corona pandemic in India has put Indian cinema into upheaval and again its pushing it backwards. From Sankranthi to Summer, there were meant to be a slew of big releases, but everything has suddenly changed. RRR and Radhe Shyam were the first which got postponed.

Now, Megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya, which was set to release on February 4th, has been postponed as well. "The release of Acharya has been postponed due to the continuous spread of COVID. The Acharya team indicated that a new release date would be announced soon.

Meanwhile, on the festival of Sankranthi, the makers of Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati's Bheemla Nayak have launched a new poster for the film. Both performers are shown on the image as having a lot of attitude. Surprisingly, the release date was still 'February 25th.' Since February 25th is more than 40 days away, it appears that the producers are not in a hurry to postpone the film and are instead playing a waiting game. If there isn't a night curfew or a 50% occupancy regulation in place by then, Bheemla Nayak might be the first major to come out after the Omicron scare.
