Actress Chitrangda Singh, says she messaged actor Saif Ali Khan to talk about working with his actress-daughter Sara Ali Khan.

Chitrangda Singh's next, Gaslight, features her as a stepmother to Sara Ali Khan's character Meesha. The thriller features the two on opposite sides as Meesha tries to figure out the mystery of her missing father after her return home and believes her stepmother to be hiding something. While this is the first time that Chitrangda and Sara are working together, the actor had already worked with her father Saif Ali Khan in Baazaar (2018)

Talking about this, Chitrangda Singh said, "It's so strange that she (Sara Ali Khan) was doing her first film at that time when Saif Ali Khan and I were shooting for a film and now I am working with her."

Gaslight is a murder mystery and a classic whodunit. Produced by Ramesh Taurani, Tips Films Ltd, and Akshai Puri, 12th Street Entertainment, and directed by Pavan Kirpalani, the film releases on March 31 on Disney+ Hotstar. The thriller also stars, Vikrant Massey Chitrangda Singh, Akshay Oberoi, and Rahul Dev amongst others.

In Sudhir Mishra's Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, which was released in 2005, Chitrangda made her acting debut alongside Kay Kay Menon and Shiney Ahuja. She is renowned for her work in the movies I, Me Aur Main, Desi Boys, and Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011). (2013). Her most recent appearance was in Bob Biswas (2021), starring Abhishek Bachchan.
