One of the most anticipated films this year is definitely 'Kadaram Kodan' the first collaboration between Chiyaan Vikram and Kamal Haasan. On the occasion of Tamil New Year, the team had confirmed the release date of the first single, which will see its release on May 1.'Kadaram Kondan' is the official remake of the French film 'Point Blank' and stars Vikram and Akshara Haasan in the lead roles.

The movie Kadaram Kondan is an action thriller which sees Vikram play KK, a high profile mafia who is an expert in safe-breaking. While there was a widespread rumor floated on the internet that Kadaram Kondan will clash with NGK on May 31, the makers quickly denied it by saying that the film is still in the post-production stage and the team is yet to decide about the release plans. 

Music is by Ghibran, cinematography by Srinivas R Gutha, editing by Praveen K.L and directed by Rajesh M Selva of 'Thoongavanam' fame.  The release date of the film will be officially announced soon. Kadaram Kondan is jointly produced by Raj Kamal Films International and Trident Arts and is most likely to release in the Summer of 2019.
