Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi after laying the foundation stone of medical college in Ghazipur, in a public meeting held here pulled up JDS-Congress coalition Karnataka government over its pledge to waive farm loans of farmers. He stated that Karnataka government swore to waive off all farm loans but in its place  the grand old party pardoned the loans of just 800 farmers.

"Karnataka mein laakhon kisaano ka karz maafi ka vaada kiya tha lekin sirf 800 kisaano ka karz maaf hua. Ye kaisa khel hai, kaisa dhoka hai? (The pledge was to waive off loans of lakhs of farmers but the loans of only 800 farmers was waived off. What kind of  fake play is this?)," PM lashed out at the rally over Rahul Ganhsi led Congress party.

His statements came  after Rahul Gandhi in his winning in 3 states assembly polls told a that “won't let PM Modi sleep” until all farm loans waived.

PM Modi calling to himself as chowkidar or watchman also asserted he is working tirelessly for the people every day and night.

"Aane wala samay aapka hai, aapke bachhon ka hai. Aapka aur aapke bhavishya sudhaarne ke liye aapka ye chaukidar bohot imaandari se, bohot lagan ke saath, din raat ek kar raha hai (The future belongs to you and your children. Your watchman is working determinedly, honestly every day and night for your future)," PM Modi stated the gathering at Ghazipur public meeting.
