New Delhi: Multiplexes have opened in several states of the country from today i.e. Yes, from today, several major multiplex chains Inox, PVR, and Cinepolis have announced to reopen their screens. In this regard, the operators say that the picture buffs will not have to wait any longer. Both the multiplexes have been opened with a capacity of 50 percent from today. The programs for the cinema are said to be scheduled soon. Preparations have been made for running cinema at Umrao, Crown Mall, River Side, Phoenix Plazas, and Van Awadh Gomtinagar.
On the other hand, PVR said in a statement, "Its theatres will resume operations from July 30 in states and Union Territories that have allowed the reopening of theatres.'' You must be aware that no big Bollywood film is going to be released these days. So now only Hollywood and regional films will be screened. The list includes several films including "The Suicide Squad" (August 5), "Mortal Combat" (July 30), and "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Devil Do It" (August 13).
Let us also tell all of you that the number of coronavirus cases is continuously declining and in view of this, many states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana have allowed the resumption of operations in cinema halls. Multiplexes have opened from today. Similarly, if we talk about the capital Delhi, theatres here have been allowed to reopen with 50 percent capacity from 1st August i.e.
