Many actors of this show have together revealed that even after one year of the show closing, they has not received payment. In this connection, artist Jan Khan has told in an interview that the producer of this serial has refused to give his outstanding payment to all the actors. He played the main character in this serial and in an interview given to a media reporter, he has told that the producer of the serial 'Hamari Bahu Silk' has given only 15 days rupees to all the actors and now refusing to give the rest of the fees.

The entire cast of this serial has even threatened the producers that if he does not give their fees, then they will take their own lives. Many actors associated with the TV industry have come forward in this case and they have also supported the cast of this serial and demanded that the dues of all people be given back. According to the latest updates in this matter, CINTAA (Cine And TV Artistes' Association) and FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) have joined hands to help these artists. Amit Bahl, senior joint secretary of CINTAA, in an interview to a portal, said that he has tried to talk to all the artists and asked them to work with a little patience.
