New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday made important remarks while hearing the review petition of Salim and Shabnam, sentenced to death in the murder of 7 people. Chief Justice of India Justice Bobde said that our judgment should be respected, the execution of the sentence should be accepted. But this is not happening nowadays.

The apex court states that the end of capital punishment is extremely important and should not be exposed to the impression of a certain prisoner, as recent events have shown that capital punishment is open and can be interrogated at all times. The court said that endless litigation cannot be allowed. The Supreme Court said that if there is a debate like this, then we will not be able to give a decision in any case, you should debate the merit of the case.

Counsel for the petitioner, Meenakshi Arora, said that if there is even a chance that the court should consider the execution of the execution of the sentence, we understand the seriousness of the case and believe that the murder has been done in a gruesome manner. But the court should consider reducing the death penalty. On this, the top court said that we should show any earlier decision in which the death sentence has been changed due to good conduct of the jail.
