New Delhi: The court has refused to intervene in the government's case, hearing a petition seeking financial assistance to migrant laborers during the nationwide lockdown and to their homes safely. Chief Justice Bobde said that he cannot interfere in the present work. In this time of epidemic, the government should allow it to work.

During the hearing in the case of migrating workers, the CJI said that the government has filed an affidavit stating that they are giving food and essential goods to the workers. The Home Minister himself is watching the situation. He has said that further steps will be taken for the workers. The court said that in this period of epidemic, the government should allow it to work, we do not want to interfere in the government's work for the next 10-15 days. The apex court asked the petitioner to look at the government's affidavit. The court will next hear the case on Monday.

Earlier on Saturday, the apex court rejected a petition related to the exodus of workers caused by the lockdown. The court said that millions of people have millions of views. We cannot listen to everyone's views and cannot force the government for this. A public interest litigation was filed in the Supreme Court, in which hotels and resorts were used for migrant laborers.
