Farrukhabad: There is a big news from Farrukhabad in UP. In fact, the Fatehgarh district jail here was rocked this sunday morning. The groups of prisoners reportedly became organic and thereafter there was chaos in the jail. The incident of stone pelting and arson was reportedly carried out inside the jail. Yes, three prisoners have been reported injured during this period. The DM and SP of the district reportedly rushed to the jail as soon as they came to know about the incident. Here, they have got the situation controlled and at the same time, the injured prisoners have been sent to the hospital.
Initial information in the case revealed that the jail personnel had opened fire to control the prisoners. Let me tell all of you that last Saturday, a prisoner in jail died of dengue. There was a lot of resentment among other prisoners towards the jail administration. This morning, sunday morning, all the prisoners came out of their barracks and gathered at one place. Within a short time, everyone started expressing their displeasure. Everyone even set fire to the jail to convince them. At the time of the uproar, the prisoners also took the jailer hostage, who could be released after a lot of difficulties.
As soon as they came to know about this, the security personnel posted in the jail opened fire to control the prisoners. Three prisoners were reportedly injured in the firing and as soon as the jail administration came to know about it, they were alerted. On the other hand, the District Collector and SP rushed to the spot with dalbal where they persuaded the prisoners to calm down.
