Chandigarh: Students under the banner of Naujawan Bharat Sabha staged a sit-in in front of the main gate of Chaudhary Devilal University for the second day on Wednesday. After which the main gate was closed. The students have also decided to boycott the examinations which will start from February 10 if their demands are not met. Both the gates of the university will be closed and the students in the college will also be allowed to sit on a dharna by closing the gate. There will be a complete boycott of examinations.

The protesters said that a memorandum was submitted to the university administration on Friday itself, but their demands were not being heard. The vice-chancellor of the university is also in the office today, but he is not even coming to listen to the students. Angry students raised slogans. Surendra Kumar, a member of Naujawan Bharat Sabha, while talking to the press said that colleges and universities are open from February 01 and the schedule of examinations has been issued from February 10. The studies of the students have been affected for a long time. They cannot prepare in 10 days, so they demand that the exam should be conducted from February 20.

There is also a demand of the students that if the studies have been done online, then the exam should also be conducted in both online and offline mode. Provision should also be given to solve five questions out of 9, because the syllabus is not completed. The dharna is going on for these demands. If the demands are not met, there will be a complete boycott of the examinations starting from February 10.
