Officials said that a large number of activists, including newly elected MLA Yashoda Verma, reached the CM's residence office to express their gratitude for the victory in the Khairagarh assembly by-election. CM congratulates the newly elected MLA.
Congratulating and wishing the people of Khairagarh, he said that the mandate has put its stamp on the functioning of the Chhattisgarh government for the last three-and-a-half years. He said that more than 56,000 votes have been received in this election as compared to the last election and all this has been made possible due to the functioning of the government and the trust of the people. The CM said that Rahul Gandhi had said after the victory in the assembly elections that the loans of farmers have to be waived within 10 days, but we completed it within two hours. We had promised to make Khairagarh a district within 24 hours. We have completed it within 3 hours of Yashoda Verma being elected as an MLA. State Revenue Department Secretary Neelam Namdev Ekka said that the process of formation of the Khairagarh-Chuaikhand-Gandai district has been initiated by the revenue department as per the announcement of the CM.
