Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has taken a tough stand on the safety of women. He said that the police should take strict steps regarding crimes related to women. CM Baghel also talked about starting women's PR vehicles soon to prevent crimes against women. He said that the information system will be strengthened so that crime can be prevented before it happens. Chief Minister Baghel is taking the collector-SP conference on Saturday.  

In the conference being held at the Circuit House in Raipur, CM Bhupesh Baghel said that collectors and SPs of all districts should keep a close watch on law and order. He told the police officers that visible policing should be seen. All SPs themselves should go out on night patrol. While preventing crimes, do not take action only on a small scale and do not give data and carry out a concrete action plan. Cm Baghel has instructed to keep a strict vigil to stop drug trafficking from the state and neighbouring states. He said that the police should take strict action to root out the drug network. For this, make necessary coordination at every level from neighbouring states. He also directed that action should be taken by reaching the source of such cases. He said in a strict tone why drugs are becoming easily available.

CM Baghel instructed the SPs of all the districts that strict action should be taken on online gambling. Provide assistance to the victim quickly on crimes against Scheduled Castes, Tribes. Take swift action on stabbing incidents as well. He instructed the SPs of all the districts that such incidents should not happen at all and adopt a policy of zero tolerance with the culprits.
