Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai stated the state government is committed to giving 'Thrividha Dasoha of Anna' (food), 'Akshara' (education), and 'Ashraya' (shelter) to all the underprivileged and weaker sections of society.

Bommai told reporters after beginning the Dasoha (charity) event at Sri Siddaganga Mutt as part of the Dasoha Day celebrations that Dasoha is a Karnataka tradition. According to Bommai, this is a day that emphasises the significance of food, education, and shelter.

The state government increased Anna Dasoha's per capita rice allowance from 4 to 5 kg. He stated that ragi and jowar are also distributed according to the region's eating preferences.

The ration is for Mutts and other charitable organisations participating in Anna Dasoha. In the case of Akshara Dasoha, the state government has introduced the Vidya Nidhi scheme for children of farmers, with Rs 150 million set aside for direct scholarship distribution to children of construction workers. According to Bommai, state and federal governments have launched housing plans for Ashraya Dasoha, with roughly 5 lakh units currently under construction.

Dasoha Day will be commemorated as a government event and will be honoured in a more organised manner. Dasoha culture is being promoted by the state government throughout the state. "I came to today's session with the intention of following in the footsteps of Siddaganga Seer. Our government's mission is to ensure that everyone has access to food, education, and shelter "Bommai remarked.
