Corona wreaking havoc in Karnataka, CM Yeddyurappa says, 'Every effort is made to stop infection'

Bengaluru: Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa said on Thursday that he has given a big statement on the growing Corona cases in the state. He has said that the state government is doing everything possible to control the global epidemic coronavirus infection and save the lives of the people and will leave no stone unturned to control it. Yeddyurappa told the press here that some pockets have been made in some districts of the state to prevent the corona epidemic.

When questioned that the epidemic has become uncontrollable in the state, CM Yeddyurappa said that instructions have been issued to all district officials to take strict steps to stop the spread of the epidemic. CM Yeddyurappa said that the Central Government team, which recently visited the state, also appreciated the steps taken by the state government to prevent the spread of corona infection. He said that a 10100-bed temporary hospital has been set up at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Center, which is ready to treat corona patients. This center is equipped with all facilities.

During the last one week in the state, the number of corona infected cases has increased significantly and till Wednesday the number of patients has crossed 28000. So far 470 people have lost their lives in the state from Corona.
