Patna: The youth wing of BJP has lodged an FIR in Patna on Thursday against Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi for his statement against the people of Bihar and UP. BJP Yuva Morcha National Vice President Manish Kumar Singh has given a written complaint to Kadam Kuan police station. Channi had made a remark of not allowing the people of UP and Bihar to enter the state by calling them 'bhaiya' due to an election rally in Punjab. Due to which the quarrel started.

In a discussion with the media in Patna, Manish Kumar said, 'The Chief Minister of Punjab has made a controversial and provocative remark about not allowing the people of Uttar Pradesh-Bihar to come to the state. Every person has the right to go anywhere and this right has been given to us by the Constitution of India. The CM of Punjab has insulted the people of Bihar and UP with his statement. We will protest till Channi apologizes to us.

Actually, a video of Channi is becoming very viral on social media. Chief Minister Channi is present along with Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi. Because of this, he says that Uttar Pradesh should be given, Bihar should be given, Delhi should be given, 'Ake ite raj nai karde'. Thereafter, the people present there start clapping. Priyanka Gandhi herself claps. At the same time, opposition parties have also attacked this statement of Chief Minister Channi. On Channi's statement, Arvind Kejriwal said that it is very shameful. We strongly condemn comments aimed at any individual or any particular community. Priyanka Gandhi also belongs to Uttar Pradesh, she is also 'bhaiya'.
