Chandigarh: The political crisis in Punjab is on the rise. Here, controversies are emerging and those controversies are seen increasing every day. Earlier Captain Amarinder Singh's resigned and now Navjot Singh Sidhu has now resigned as congress state president. His resignation has added to the controversy. The atmosphere has heated up since Navjot Singh Sidhu resigned and now one statement after another is coming out. Now, recently, state Chief Minister Charanjeet Singh Channi has made a statement in this regard.

"I have no knowledge of his resignation," he said during the PC held. Sidhu will meet him if he is angry. He has made it clear that 'I have no knowledge of Sidhu's resignation.' Sidhu is angry and will meet him and talk to him. I'll talk about Sidhu, everything will be fine. I have full faith in Sidhu.'' Chief Minister Charanjeet Singh Channi also spoke on agricultural laws. He said, "Farmers should be given loans at concessional interest rates. The Central Government should take steps to improve the condition of the farmers. We are giving government jobs to the farmer families killed in the agitation.''

He further said, "We will convene a special session of the Assembly to reject agricultural laws. The farmers of Punjab have a debt of one lakh crore rupees. We have waived off some loans and the Central Government should waive off the loans of the farmers. The condition of the farmers is deteriorating day by day but the Centre is unchanged. As the Chief Minister of Punjab, I would like to appeal to the Centre to repeal three agricultural laws.''

Now Navjot Singh Sidhu said in his resignation to Sonia Navjot Singh Sidhu has actually written in his resignation to Sonia, "Compromise destroys the character of a human being. I cannot compromise on the future of Punjab. So, I resign as the State President and will continue to work for the Congress.''
