CM Dhami advises devotees who have come to Uttarakhand not to travel

Dehradun: Sincethe beginning of the Chardham Yatra in Mae, the rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand has added to the woes of the devotees. At the same time, devotees are also facing many problems on the way. After these problems, several precautionary measures have been taken by the Government of Uttarakhand and the figures of devotees have also been limited.  

In the same visit to Kedarnath Dham, the weather is creating problems for the pilgrims as well as the administration and local traders. On Tuesday, the district received rain since early morning, while Kedarnath received more than five inches of snow. The walkway also received heavy rainfall after 10 pm, which continued till evening. The movement of horse mules from Gaurikund was also stopped. From here, only pedestrians were allowed to travel by stopping at safer places till 12 o'clock.  

Due to this, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that kedarnath dham is receiving continuous rain, so people are being appealed to postpone the yatra for some time in view of the bad weather. He appealed to the people to proceed as per the updates received from the administration regarding the weather and the journey.
