Dehradun, November 9: On Uttarakhand Foundation Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conveyed his best wishes to the people of Uttarakhand, celebrating the state's remarkable progress over the past 24 years. This year’s Foundation Day is marked as the "Devbhoomi Silver Festival," highlighting the cultural and developmental strides Uttarakhand has achieved.
Reflecting on the journey, CM Dhami stated that Uttarakhand has created a unique identity by embracing new dimensions of growth. He credited the progress to the combined efforts of the "double engine government" and the strong support of Uttarakhand’s residents. The Chief Minister also emphasized initiatives focused on empowering the youth and women, which he referred to as "concrete steps" for the state's future.
“We are working tirelessly to create a prosperous, safe, and resilient Uttarakhand, guided by the motto ‘Sankalp se Siddhi, Pragati Sang Samriddhi.’ On this Foundation Day, let us all come together and pledge to contribute to Uttarakhand’s advancement and help build a self-reliant, modern state," said CM Dhami.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fulfilling the vision of the martyrs who fought for Uttarakhand’s statehood.
In a tribute to the state’s legacy, Uttarakhand Police also extended their heartfelt congratulations, honoring the sacrifices made by those who laid down their lives for the formation of Uttarakhand. In a message posted on X, they expressed: "Heartfelt congratulations to all residents on the 25th Uttarakhand Foundation Day, with deep respect for the immortal martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Uttarakhand."
