Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reviewed the resumption of the college and the management of classrooms after the impact of the Kovid infection was reduced. AP private university act 2006 to be amended with officials. The main objective of the amendment is to provide quality education to socially and economically backward students, he said.

The Chief Minister has ordered the authorities to decide the standard to convert the current university into a private university. When creating a private university, there should be a joint certificate with 200 standard educational institutions in the world. Also, the period of running the educational institution should be five years. The educational institutions that have fulfilled this standard are allowed to be included in the private universities department. The CM decided to introduce a bill related to amendment in the AP Private University Act-2006 in the Assembly session.
