Visakhapatnam: State Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy today met Home Minister Amit Shah. After meeting the Home Minister, Reddy said that My agenda for the meeting was on the NITI Aayog meeting to be held tomorrow. Tomorrow, we will present our issue to the NITI Aayog, which will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"I had taken the time to meet the Home Minister this evening to talk about the status of a particular state," Reddy said. In the meeting of the NITI Aayog to be held tomorrow, we will place this issue before the Commission. Asked about Reddy's party's offer to be the deputy speaker of the Lok Sabha, Reddy said, "No such offer has come. Neither we have said anything about it nor have we received any such proposal. So do not make any effort on such things.

 

Besides, six Governors and four Chief Ministers met Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday and discussed various issues related to their respective states. Home Ministry officials call for separate meetings of the Home Minister with Governors and Chief Ministers. Shah took over on June 1.
