Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party OBC Morcha national president Dr K Laxman asked the party leaders and cadre to stand firm and expose the corruption and misuse of power by the seven-year-old TRS government. Addressing the Ranga Reddy district party leaders on Wednesday, he asked them to chalk out plans for the next three months in strengthening the party further and to take on the ruling TRS party MLAs and leaders' corruption and misuse of power. "Ruling party MLAs hand-in-glove with the officials have been politically suppressing the dissenting voices and opposition party leaders and cadre. They could not tolerate even a few of BJP MPPs getting elected and stalling development to harass them," he alleged.

Dr. K. Laxman was born in a middle class family to Kova Ramulu & Kova Mangamma in Hyderabad, Telangana. He pursued his education in Hyderabad and have completed his M.Sc. from PG Centre, Osmania University. Further, he secured his Ph.D. from Department of Geology, Osmania University.

Dr. K. Laxman is currently the National President for Bharatiya Janata Party's OBC Morcha since 26 September 2020. He is an Indian politician from the state of Telangana and was a former State President of Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana from 2016 to 2020. He formerly represented Musheerabad Assembly constituency twice as MLA from 1999-2004 in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and from 2014-2018 in Telangana Legislative Assembly.
