Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister KCR Has orderedto expedite the construction of the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project providing irrigation water to Mahabubnagar and Ranga Reddy districts.

In the next budget, the funds for these two projects will be allocated. He ordered immediate release of Rs 2,000 crore to pay bills related to the work of these two projects.

K.K. Kumar said that since this right was given to officials at various levels only, it was not necessary to come to Hyderabad for the approval of the most urgent and low-cost works. The engineer-in-chief will work up to Rs 1 crore and can approve a total of 25 crore works in a year. Similarly, the Chief Engineer has rs.50 lakhs per annum, totaling Rs.5 crore sold to Superintending Engineers. Rs. A total of 5 lakhs can be accepted.

At a high level review meeting held today at Pragati Bhavan, The Work of these two projects was reviewed by KCr. He reviewed the Tunnel works of the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project at Narlapur Reservoir and Pump House, Narlapur-Edula Canal, Edula Pump House-Wattem Canal, Wattem Reservoir, Wattem-Karvana Canal, Karvena Reservoir, Karvana-Udandapur Canal.

Kalvakurti, Bima, Koil Sagar and Netampadu projects will be irrigated in Mahabubnagar and Jurala districts of 11.5 lakh acres of land. The KCR has ordered the Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda and Ranga Reddy district judges to immediately compensate those who have been expelled from land acquisition on the edge of these two projects.

In the review meeting, Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy and Teras Parliamentary Party leader K. Kesava Rao, Chief Advisor to the Government Rajiv Sharma, Irrigation Principal Secretary Rajat Kumar and other relevant officials were present.

CM KCR said that clean and safe drinking water is available to the people through the state government's ambitious mission Bhagirath project. For this reason, use this water from gram panchayats to the Secretariat. He appealed to the people to use the mission Bhagirath water and said that all the minerals are available in this water.
