New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is trying to garner support from opposition parties to prevent the central government's ordinance from becoming a law, met Left leader Sitaram Yechury on Tuesday (May 30). After this meeting at the CPM office, the two leaders came in front of the media and told that together they will oppose this move of the central government. During  this, Kejriwal also spoke about the opposition to the alliance with AAP in the Congress.

Describing it as a fight for the people and the Constitution, Kejriwal once again urged that all parties should come together. Kejriwal also promised to repay the Congress and said that if the Centre brings any such ordinance against Rajasthan tomorrow, he will support it. He, accompanied by AAP leaders, reached the CPM office and hugged Sitaram Yechury and then presented him with a bouquet.

After the meeting, the two leaders interacted with the media and answered some questions. When asked about the controversy in the Congress over the alliance with AAP, Kejriwal said, "I am reading in newspapers and listening to their (Congress') statements. They are saying that they will not support Kejriwal. Kejriwal is like that, Kejriwal is like that, but this issue is not Kejriwal's. I am not important. This issue is about the democracy of the country, the issue of the disrespect that has been given to the people of Delhi, the issue is of the Constitution."
