Patna: The second phase of the caste census has started in Bihar. CM Nitish Kumar went to his residence in Bakhtiyarpur and got the census done along with his family. After this, talking to the media, Nitish Kumar said that this caste census will be completed by May 15. He clearly said that the caste census report would be made public.
CM Nitish Kumar said that the economic condition of any caste is not known. It is not clear if, if the economic condition is bad, the report will be published to improve it. It will also be laid on the table of the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council. After this, it will be seen how many people are below the poverty line; they will also be helped. CM Nitish said that he went to Delhi and met the Prime Minister as well. He was also told that later we would get the news that we (the central government) would not do it. The government said that today you have to get information on the basis of caste, so you get your information, so we held a meeting with the entire party.
Nitish Kumar said that the census of all party people is the work of the central government, and we will count it. People from other states also want to see it now. You just think that everyone has been trained to get every piece of information. If you do it in a good way, then other people will also want to see it, and most of the states are getting ready to do it. We have been making this demand for a long time; we used to talk about it in the Parliament as well.
