Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's old friend and his engineering college colleague Narendra Kumar Singh has appealed to him. Narendra Kumar Singh hails from Maina village under Mahishi block of Saharsa. In fact, for the past several years, the sub-health centre in Maina village has been closed. So that neither doctors and nurses come to the health centre nor medicines are given to the people. Narendra Kumar Singh has appealed to his CM friend to intervene in the entire matter and all the health centres which are now closed in Bihar including his village Hospital. 

A media team reached Narendra Kumar Singh's village on Tuesday and has taken information of the health centre. This health centre has almost is closed for more than 2 year's. The walls of the health centre cracking, and many parts of the roof have been broken. Government documents and broken chairs and tables are scattered in the rooms of the closed health centre. The condition of the health centre has deteriorated to such an end that many wild trees have grown due to lack of maintenance in its premises and according to the locals, snakes and scorpions also come out of it. Narendra Kumar Singh has urged his chief minister friend to issue an order to start it over the closed health centre.

Nitish Kumar's friend Narendra Kumar Singh said, "The health centre of my village is very old. The condition of this health centre has worsened in the last 5-7 years. In that case, I would like to urge the CM that before the third wave of infection, all sub-centres should be repaired and 10 oxygen beds and ventilators should be provided at all the centres. Doctors and nurses should also be appointed at all sub-health centres. Doing so will benefit the people of rural areas. The Government should immediately restore the doctor and nurse so that infection can be avoided in rural areas"
