Kochi: Many people are still stranded in different parts of the country due to law arrest. Atira Shaji, who was stranded on the Kerala-Karnataka border due to the lockdown, shared a post on Facebook. In which he has written about the CM of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan, writing how the CM immediately took steps to bring the citizens of Kerala.

Atira wrote in her Facebook post that 14 people from Kerala were stranded on the Karnataka-Kerala CM that day, including 13 women and one of them was me. Atira has also mentioned in the post that she hails from Calicut district in Kerala. Atira wrote, 'As soon as we got information about being stranded on the border, CM Pinarayi Vijayan immediately took action and called us back.'

So many people came to India from abroad in three months

Atira wrote that she had decided to return to Kerala on the morning of March 24, after working with her colleagues at TCS. She booked a traveler from Hyderabad. The night of 24 March when it reached the Karnataka-Kerala border, but then a nationwide lockdown came into force. Driver said that he could not enter Kerala, so he would take the Karnataka border. It was 1 o'clock in the morning when Atira reached the border. She wrote in a Facebook post when she was very worried and wanted to reach home as soon as possible. She wrote that when I called CM for help on this, he gave me the number of Collector and SP of Wayanad and asked to call, after which some policemen came and took us to safe house.
