Jaipur: At a time when voting is in progress for the Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2018, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, on Friday stated that she felt 'insulted' over Sharad Yadav's 'body-shaming' odd remark. Worth mention here Yadav had, on Thursday commented that Raje should be given a rest since she is exhausted and has 'put on weight'.
News agency ANI  quoted Yadav as saying “'Vasundhara (Raje) ko aaram do, thak gayi hain, bahut moti ho gayi hain," Yadav had stated on Thursday”.
In a counter attack, CM Raje stated on Friday while talking to media after casting her vote for Rajasthan Assembly polls, "To set an example for future it's important that EC takes cognisance of this kind of language. I actually feel insulted and I think even women are insulted."
Reports suggested that her party has already approached the Election Commission and filed a complaint against Yadav. It is noted that this is not the first time he has made such a worst comment. Earlier, he had stated that the honor of a vote was more than that of a daughter.
